Andrew Sellick
Andrew SellickManaging Director
Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has expertise in many commercial areas including market and customer segmentation, analysis and data visualisation, strategy execution, sales force effectiveness, forecasting and financial management.

When not at work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and “relaxes” by cycling around the Cheshire Plain and in the hills of the Peak District.

Rob Parrish
Rob ParrishDirector
Rob has been working in the healthcare industry for over 30 years and has extensive experience specialising in insight generation for the biopharma and medical device sectors.

Rob worked client-side with AstraZeneca for 12 years in various global sales and marketing roles before moving to the agency-side establishing and heading up a market research agency for 18 years.

Siobhan Southam
Siobhan SouthamHead of Medical Affairs Services
Siobhan is a strategic global medical affairs and communications professional with over 20 years’ experience. Siobhan brings experience and expertise gained in the pharmaceutical industry, medical communications and research environments. Siobhan graduated from Leeds University with a BSc in Microbiology and has post-graduate diplomas in marketing and neurolinguistic programming.

Starting in cancer research, Siobhan went on to lead global medical affairs programmes on behalf of clients before joining AstraZeneca. Whilst at AZ, Siobhan led global medical affairs strategic projects, including alliances and acquisitions and partnered with clinical, pre-clinical science, real world evidence and MSL functions at a global and local level.

Claire Jackson
Claire JacksonResearch Director
Claire has over 16 years’ experience delivering bespoke primary market research to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.

Having built up a broad armamentarium of research tools and techniques, Claire is adept at applying the right methodology to address very specific and often complex client business needs and objectives. Her experience includes both international and UK research with a specialist knowledge of the UK NHS.

Claire has worked within many therapy areas, including oncology, haematology and auto-immune diseases. She is proficient in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and is an expert moderator.

Arun Ghale
Arun GhaleScientific Insights Manager
Arun has over 5 years’ experience delivering primary market research to pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. Experienced in an array of methodologies in both quantitative and qualitative techniques, Arun has a vast experience in oncology and haematology as well as having a sound knowledge across multiple markets in other disease areas such as allergy, autoimmune, respiratory and metabolic diseases. He has worked for domestic and global agencies servicing a wide range of global pharma clients across marketing, medical, R&D, HEOR and consumer healthcare.

He developed his scientific background at the University of Freiburg in Germany where he researched the interactions between human-derived neural stem cells and cancer stem cells using flow cytometric protocols.

Away from work, Arun enjoys keeping fit in the gym, cycling running marathons. As a keen vegetarian, he likes to experiment with new recipes and loves baking sourdough when he has the time to do so!

Connor Blackmore
Connor BlackmoreDigital Insights Manager
Connor specialises in the interpretation and analysis of big data. One of his main research skills is social media and online listening, monitoring the online world to identify key insights for clients.

Connor combines this with 6 years’ experience of secondary market research and has worked on a variety of different research projects involving social media analysis, literature searches, congress searches and journal identification and impact. He has particular expertise in rare diseases and neuroscience.

Ryan Vonslow
Ryan VonslowSenior Researcher
Ryan joined 7i Group in January 2019 as a Senior Researcher and is responsible for managing qualitative and quantitative market research projects. Ryan’s interest in the healthcare sector piqued whilst completing his undergraduate degree in Pharmacology at the University of Manchester. In 2016, after working in research roles for both Boehringer Ingelheim and Novartis, Ryan moved into market research where he has been able to deliver invaluable insights to clients in the healthcare sector.

Ryan brings a wealth of experience in managing bespoke, global market research projects and delivering insights into a broad range of disease areas covering dermatology, neurology, rare diseases and medical devices.

William Neill, PhD
William Neill, PhDSenior Researcher
With a PhD in ‘Behavioural change, physical activity, health and wellbeing promotion’, William has over five years’ academic experience delivering a large health promotion project. The project was funded by Sport England and aimed to encourage inactive people in Derby to take part in physical activity and reduce health inequalities across the city.

More recently, William has undertaken qualitative and quantitative research projects on behalf of pharmaceutical companies to support the development and validation of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) in line with regulatory guidelines across various disease areas.

William is an experienced moderator with a motivational interviewing background, undertaking interviews with participants across various disease areas and professions.

He spent over two years lecturing at the University of Derby, UK across a range of modules, including Anatomy & Physiology and Exercise Physiology.

Katy Bacon
Katy BaconSenior Researcher
Katy has 18 months’ experience delivering primary and secondary market research projects for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. Katy has expertise in patient data analysis, real-world evidence data generation and structured literature reviews and has co-authored abstracts and posters for national/regional and international congresses. Katy utilises her experience to create engaging and meaningful data presentations and visualisations including dashboards. Passionate about quality, Katy is a stickler for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data in everything that she does and approaches projects with scientific rigour.

Katy has a scientific background having completed a Masters in Biological Sciences at University of London, which focused on Embryology. In her spare time, Katy is a keen hockey player, horse rider and also enjoys walking in the countryside.

Matt Hanson
Matt HansonResearcher
Matt joined the team with over 2 years’ experience in medical communications. With a background in biomedicine, Matt completed both his BSc and MSc at Lancaster University, UK with a particular interest in pathobiology.

Before joining 7i Group, Matt specialised in the generation and analysis of real-world evidence, with deliverables including engaging slide decks and interactive dashboards. Matt has primarily worked across the respiratory disease area, but also brings experience in autoimmune and rare diseases. Always looking to contribute to scientific understanding and development, Matt has also co-authored abstracts and posters for international congresses.

Away from work, Matt enjoys spending time with family, keeping fit and reading.

Sarah Halfpenny
Sarah HalfpennyBusiness Development & Project Support Executive
Sarah joined 7i Group in January 2020 as Business Development & Project Support Executive – the role is responsible for generating leads, contacting existing and potential clients and for co-ordinating our business development pipeline. Sarah has over 16 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry, mainly based with AstraZeneca at Alderley Park. Sarah has extensive experience in project support and is qualified in Business and Administration Management.

In her private life, Sarah enjoys spending time with family, relaxing on holidays and loves a Zumba class!

Sylda O'Brien
Sylda O'BrienProject Support Executive
Sylda supports the project teams with document design, production and data manipulation. Sylda brings 25 years of experience in managing administrative operations and delivering vital administrative support to senior management within fast-paced environments. Sylda also brings experience from previous roles with 15+ years in the UK NHS, having worked in most specialty areas. Sylda has advanced IT skills having worked as a web designer and freelance IT trainer specialising in the areas of web, graphics and image manipulation and holds an ICT teaching qualification and a certificate in Advanced Image Manipulation.

In her private life Sylda enjoys riding her motorbike. She also has 3 dogs, a love of animals in general and the great outdoors, especially Scotland with its empty roads and beautiful scenery.

Kay has many years’ experience providing administrative and clerical support to a range of companies, including a multi-national corporation.

Kay keeps us organised and supports us in many areas across the company.

Stuart Morris

Stuart is an ACMA qualified accountant with many years of experience as a Finance Director working for multi-site global SMEs.
