7i Group recently presented their thoughts during an EPHMRA webinar on the impact of COVID-19 on cancer care pathways. The results of a self-funded survey explored the evolution of cancer care, indicating that changes implemented during the pandemic such as remote consultations, home delivery and monitoring are now being integrated permanently into the pathway. Insights from this research demonstrated a positive attitude towards change and a shift in the oncologists’ mindsets towards the acceptance and adoption of future innovation, potentially opening doors for further change.
The next big question explored oncologists’ attitudes towards the use of wearables and/or mobile applications within cancer care. Please read our article to find out more about oncologists’ attitudes towards wearable technology in cancer.
