William Neill, PhD
Associate Research Director

With a PhD in ‘Behavioural change, physical activity, health and wellbeing promotion’, William has over five years’ academic experience delivering a large health promotion project. The project was funded by Sport England and aimed to encourage inactive people in Derby to take part in physical activity and reduce health inequalities across the city

More recently, William has undertaken qualitative and quantitative research projects on behalf of pharmaceutical companies to support the development and validation of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) in line with regulatory guidelines across various disease areas

William is an experienced moderator with a motivational interviewing background, undertaking interviews with participants across various disease areas and professions

He spent over two years lecturing at the University of Derby, UK across a range of modules, including Anatomy & Physiology and Exercise Physiology
