Challenge

The client was working in the rare disease area of lipofuscinosis and needed to understand more about the patient population across central and eastern Europe
We were asked to provide real world data from patient records to understand more about the age on onset, treatment history and symptomatic burden of illness
Approach

We designed, planned and executed a retrospective, non-interventional real world study in 6 countries in central Europe and 9 countries in eastern Europe
Supporting the client through every stage from designing and hosting a platform to collate anonymised patient data, through to desk research to create bespoke lists of respondents to invite to take part in the study
Outcome

We enabled the client to gather a detailed picture of the lipofuscinosis landscape across central and eastern Europe
The wealth of different clinical data gathered in the study contributed to the client’s medical engagement strategy, their marketing strategy and their approach for health economics and value propositions
