Our client was working in a rare disease area and needed to understand more about patients’ current treatment and attitudes towards self-administration

The client was looking to enter this market with the findings from this research playing a vital role in directing their business going forward

Approach

Working with specialist rare disease partners, 7i Group recruited suitable patient candidates using multiple channels including patient groups and social media. We then conducted 10-minute telephone interviews with patients in the UK

Following completion of the interviews, we analysed the data to draw out impactful insights for the final report

Outcome

We enabled the client to gather a picture of patients’ current treatment and attitudes in the UK; the research further uncovered key barriers to patient adherence with the current treatment options

Hearing the ‘Voice of the Patient’ in this research gave the client insights that contributed to their commercial strategy
