Senior Researcher


Healthcare Primary Market Research

The role will focus on the delivery of primary market research as standalone projects or as part of a broader project for a range of pharmaceutical clients. As a Senior Researcher, the role will entail being responsible for managing and delivering small/medium qualitative and quantitative projects with a supporting team, and being a key day-to-day client contact. Generating insights and recommendations from the data obtained and working with a Research Director to present findings to clients.


  • Demonstrate experience and success in managing smaller global qualitative and quantitative market research projects from proposal through to delivery and being a key client contact for day-to-day project management
  • Have been working in a healthcare market research setting for at least 3 years
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high quality work
  • An interest in and desire to learn about the constantly evolving biopharmaceutical, medical devices and healthcare landscape
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Show innovative thinking and proactivity
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good project management, time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional IT skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong teamwork and self-motivation skills
  • Commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial approach
  • You must be able to demonstrate that you are eligible to work in the UK
  • Any experience in secondary / desk research would be valued however not essential. This could include accessing and interpreting information from a variety of public domain and/or proprietary secondary data sources, generating insights and recommendations from these data sources and involvement in presenting these findings to clients


Minimum BSc or equivalent, ideally in a life sciences subject.

The usual place of work is Alderley Park, Alderley Edge, Cheshire SK10 4TG, UK.

Alderley Park, the UK’s largest bioscience campus, is in a stunning countryside location and provides an informal and friendly working environment with access to an on-site gym and restaurant. The 7i Group office overlooks the lake at Alderley Park with a view to the woods beyond.

7i Group supports a flexible working culture. Applications are also encouraged from candidates who are seeking part-time working hours; these applications are considered on a case by case basis. Requests to work from home are also considered. 


Roles attract a basic salary; a profit share bonus scheme and workplace pension scheme are also provided.


25 days of paid leave is available in the first calendar year of employment in addition to bank holidays. This increases 1 day per calendar year up to a maximum of 28 days.
